Woodberry Down Community Primary School
The Visual Learning Foundation has provided outstanding support to our school for a number of years. This support has come in a range of forms: from INSET days, staff meetings, one-to-one coaching and individual planning support; to extended projects in school (working with children and class teachers) producing fantastic work. For us, what makes the VLF stand out is the passion, rigour, creativity and sheer commitment to art as a subject, combined with a very real understanding of urban schools. The VLF is an inspirational and passionate advocate of a much-neglected subject and we found them consistently reliable, organised and challenging. I could not recommend the VLF more highly.

We have enjoyed collaborating with the VLF over the past three years and look forward to further successful programmes during the forthcoming academic year. As a result of our partnership we have a highly successful, well-respected and innovative series of student and educator art programmes, which are consistently oversubscribed and well-received. We often find that our art programmes fill up 6 months in advance and schools are always excited and challenged by the thematic nature of the workshops. Children love to take home and display the art they produce and we enjoy photographing and showcasing the students at work!
