BUILDING SIGHT – KINGS PLACE - Exhibition at VLF December 2006

Throughout the autumn term 2006 the VLF worked at their base on sculpture projects with three local primary schools, as well as the VLF After School Art Class. 
The work is being funded by Parabola Land.

On display on the hoarding surrounding the site at Kings Place, York Way, London N1, on the canal just behind Kings Cross Station
 

THE BUILDING WORKS EXHIBITION was held at the VLF in October 2003.
The Rt Hon Margaret Hodge MP Minister for Children opened the exhibition.
There was a special tour of the Kings Cross regeneration site for those interested, courtesy of Exel. A friendly local bus company transported visitors from the site to the exhibition. The event also included a screening of the VLF documentary BUILDING WORKS that shows children working on location at the old Granary in the heart of the site.

The Building Works Project was initially funded by Creative Partnerships London East

The Visual Learning Foundation’s environmental project BUILDING WORKS was on view.
The Rt Hon Charles Clarke MP Minister for Education and Skills was keynote speaker.
